  Quilt Blocks for the Haywards - Pick up your block to decorate for the Hayward's memory quilt from the church office, Merna Witzel, or Shannon Burke. Your block must be completed and urned in by October 8th.
  Pianist Needed - The Junior Division needs a pianist for their 10-15 minute song service, after which you may leave to attend the Sabbath School class of your choice.  Contact Jan Steele at 473-2364 or Laun Reinholtz at 471-3995.

September 16-18 Life Resolutions - Our eight week journey begins with a retreat weekend.  — More Info —
September 17-23 Week of Prayer - Pastor Sung Um begins the week during the morning services and continues each evening at 6:20pm. A soup and sandwich supper will be served from 5:30-6:00pm Monday-Friday evenings. Young people and adults will appreciate Pastor Um's interesting and deeply spiritual presentations.
September 18 Grief Share - Program begins at 4:00pm in the Fireside Room.  — More Info —
September 19 Farewell Reception for Verlyn & Anita Benson - 4:00 to 6:00pm at Chan Shun Hall. The Bensons are headed to Rawanda. Light refreshments will be served.
September 20 Depression & anxiety Recovery Program - Depression and anxiety are reversible!  Dr. Neil Nedley has successfully helped many patients. A free introductory session will be held at 7:00pm in the Community Center at the Stevensville SDA Church.
September 24 Calling All Men of Faith - Don't miss the upcoming Michigan Men of Faith meeting on Sabbath, September 24th at GLAA. Sabbath School begins at 9:30. There is no registration fee this year - the day will be funded by your free will offerings. Lunch in the cafeteria will be on a donation basis, but you need to sign up for the meal no later than Monday, September 19. Optimize Your Brain - The health team will be putting on the new program developed by Neil Nedley. Six meetings on Thursday evenings beginning September 29 at 6:30-8:30pm.  Call the church office to register.
October 1 A Journey to Healing and Understanding - Last year the Lake Union Conference apologized for failed race relations in the Adventist Church.  Join us from 3:00-5:30pm at the Village Church for an ongoing conversation on mission and culture.  Co-sponsored by the Lake Union and Andrews University.
October 7-9 Mother & Daughter Retreat - Camp Au Sable, Grayling, MI.  Mellina and Lilly Widdicombe will be presenthing this year's theme: "Be-You-tiful ini God".  Registration opens Monday August 22.  Register at www.misda.org or call 517-316-1565.
