The Bible is the history of the first battle this universe has ever seen. A war in heaven and many battles on earth. All humanity is involved in this Great War between Jesus and Satan. But why is the Bible filled with so many fights? What spiritual lesson do I get from that?
There is a war going on as I write between good and evil. The war is real. Every day there are winners and losers. A common theme in the battle that took place in the Bible is that no matter how big the enemy was, if God was on your side, you won! |
Christians are soldiers of Jesus Christ. Yes, we are in enemy’s territory and so we cannot expect to have an easy time even in this “quiet” town. The orders have gone out and our Captain Jesus is leading His army to victory. We must be willing to stay with Jesus, obey His orders, and follow Him to victory.
This week in Vacation Bible School we have been learning how to use God’s armor to defeat the enemy. Thank you for joining us as we celebrate the battles that we have won and be prepared for the battles to come. |
