WellSpring: Building stability in the lives of individuals and families.
WellSpring Ministries was born in the summer of 1998 in Berrien Springs, Michigan, to offer help to people struggling with heartache, fear, dysfunction, and emotional pain. This ministry is a faith venture on the part of the classes and support groups, as well as individual and couple counseling services.
House to House - A Village Parish Ministry
Your Village elders have been in many homes recently and a common theme has emerged: You consistently tell us how much you appreciate the personal visit. That is the encouragement we need as we’ve been planning how, as leaders in a church our size, we can be in many more homes, pray with our Village members and help each one become involved in serving with us!

Relationships can be delicate. When carefully nurtured and protected they provide meaning for life. They give joy. When treated casually or unattended to they degrade into commitments and promises that bind without blessing. Writing to the first of the seven churches of Revelation, Jesus declared that His real conflict with the church was that they had lost their first love. The implication is clear – maintaining that love is a divine expectation and priority. Because Christianity without love cannot rise above its legalistic foundations, God interjected a divine directive into the law to develop and safeguard our relationships. I hope today we can catch a glimpse of this amazing plan to deepen our bond with Him throughout time and eternity.
With Elder Dan Augsburger held every Wednesday night at 6:20 p.m. in the Family Center. This helps us to remember that the Wednesday night prayer meeting is vital to every Seventh-day Adventist. How important that every church member be faithful in attending the mid-week prayer meeting!
Two important meetings are scheduled back to back on Thursday, May 1, 7:00 p.m. in the Family Center: the Village School Constituency Meeting and the Church Business Meeting. The Annual Village School Constituency Meeting features the reports on various projects, outreach activities, school year events, technology and other programs in keeping with our school’s goals and vision. The 2014-2015 school year budget will be explained and voted as well. In the Business Meeting the Church Building and Steering Committee will then engage us on renewal related matters of our church sanctuary. Leading up to this May 1 meeting, we will also have an update information on our sanctuary egress construction project. Your presence is very much appreciated.
We mourn with Jim Hippler and his family on the death of his wife, Gay Hippler. A memorial service will be held this afternoon at 4:00 in the Sanctuary. With the Hippler family, we look forward to resurrection morning. “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”
